How long is delivery?

For the best possible outcome for our shrimp, we use fast, fully tracked delivery services to minimise time in transit and maximise safety.
• β¨ Small Orders → Sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24
• π Larger Orders → Sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm (premium next-day, fully tracked, signature required)
β° Same-day dispatch is available on orders placed before 12pm (working days). Orders placed after 12pm ship the next working morning. We do not ship Saturdays or Sundays for shrimp safety.
βοΈ Winter shipping is active — all shrimp are sent with heat packs to keep them warm during transit.
Your shrimp’s health and safety are always our top priority. Every order is carefully packed to ensure a safe journey from our tanks to your door. ππ¦
What happens if my shrimp have arrived deceased?
π¦ DOA Policy – Live Arrival Guarantee
We want every customer to receive healthy, thriving shrimp, which is why we offer a Live Arrival Guarantee under the following conditions:
πΉ Proof Required → If any shrimp arrive DOA, please record a clear, continuous video while opening the parcel, starting from the sealed box and continuing through the full unboxing of the bags. The video must clearly show the shrimp inside the unopened bag.
β± Contact Us Quickly → Please send the video along with your order number to us via email or our contact page within 1 hour of delivery.
π Resolution → Once verified, we will offer replacement shrimp (where possible) or store credit/refund for the affected shrimp.
π« Exclusions →
• Shipping costs are non-refundable.
• The guarantee is void if delivery is missed, delayed, or no one is available to accept the parcel.
• The DOA policy does not apply once shrimp have been removed from the bag or introduced into your aquarium.
β¨ Extra Care → We often include extra shrimp free of charge where possible to help cover any unlikely DOA during transit.

- π‘ Local Delivery → We offer a personal local delivery service, depending on availability and distance. Please contact us to check if we can deliver to your area and to make arrangements.
- π¦ Postal Delivery → We also ship our stock safely across the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland).
Your shrimp’s wellbeing is our top priority, whether you collect in person, receive a local drop-off, or have them delivered by post. ππ¦

Yes, you can! Our collection service is completely free to use. Once your order is ready, we’ll send you a message so you can come and collect it safely from our door. π¦π
