Frequently asked questions

How long is delivery? 

For the best possible outcome for our stock, we have chosen Royal Mail Tracked 24 for small orders. For larger orders we have chosen to assign Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm. This is a fast 24 hour service and your parcel will need to be signed for. 

What happens if my shrimp/fish has arrived dead? 

In the very unlikely and unfortunate event of a DOA (Dead on arrival,) we do have a policy in place. You must record the unboxing of your order and send it us within 60 minutes of arrival to ensure appropriate proof of the DOA. The proof of your DOA must be of the item in our packaging as releasing the order into your personal tank is counted as acceptance of the order. Our refunds will only cover the DOA and not the delivery cost. 

How do I care for my shrimp? 

Our care guide is available on every product advertisement. Simply look through the gallery of the product and find your instructions there.

Can I collect my order? 

Yes, you can. Our collection service is free to use. We will message you when your order is ready to go so you can come and collect from our door. 

Do you deliver? 

We offer a personal local delivery service. This may vary depending on availability and distance, please contact us to check availability and make arrangements. 

Alternatively, we post our stock. At this time we only deliver across the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland. 

Do you only sell shrimp? 

We work hard on breeding our beautiful shrimp. Trying to grasp as many colours as we can to offer you. It is our dream to one day have a full aquatic shop, fish and all! For now, yes, we only have wonderful shrimp to offer.

I don't want to buy shrimp, but can I make a donation?

Yes, you can. We accept donations toward our goals and there is much more information about this on our 'about us' page.
