H&K Aquatics began with a shared passion for the aquatic world. My mum, Kate, worked as a pet shop manager for many years, while I started volunteering there at just 13. Together, we always kept fish and shrimp, and eventually decided to turn our love for the hobby into a family-run business.

Although my mum has now stepped back to enjoy her other hobbies, the name H&K remains — a reminder of where this journey started and the dream we built together. Today, I continue our mission: to provide healthy, beautiful shrimp, cared for with the same dedication we’ve always had.

At H&K Aquatics, our shrimp are carefully bred and raised in natural, plant-filled tanks to ensure they are healthy, colourful, and ready to thrive in your aquarium.

Our goal is simple: to make high-quality freshwater shrimp more accessible across the UK, while sharing our passion for aquatics with a growing community of hobbyists. 💙
