Red Rili Shrimp

Red Rili shrimp are a striking and highly recognisable variety of Neocaridina, loved for their vibrant red colouration paired with the distinctive Rili pattern. Their bodies typically display rich red markings on the head and tail, contrasted by a translucent midsection that creates their unique and eye-catching appearance.

Each shrimp carries its own subtle variation in pattern and intensity, giving every colony a natural mix of tones and markings while still maintaining the classic Red Rili look. Against plants, driftwood, or darker substrates, their colouration stands out beautifully and adds movement and interest to any aquarium.

Peaceful, active, and constantly grazing, Red Rili shrimp spend their time exploring the aquarium in search of biofilm and algae. In a well-established tank they quickly become a lively and fascinating part of the ecosystem.

These shrimp are hardy and adaptable, making them suitable for both beginners and experienced shrimp keepers alike.
