Green Jade Cherry
Green Jade shrimp are a unique and eye-catching variety of Neocaridina, admired for their rich green colouration and distinctive appearance in freshwater aquariums. Their bodies display shades ranging from soft jade green to deeper mossy tones, giving them a natural and striking look among plants and aquascapes.
In well-bred lines the green colour can appear strong and even across the body, creating a beautiful contrast against darker substrates and lush aquatic plants. Their unusual colour makes them a fascinating addition to shrimp tanks and a favourite among hobbyists looking for something a little different.
Peaceful and constantly active, Green Jade shrimp spend their time grazing on biofilm and algae while exploring plants, mosses, and décor throughout the aquarium. In a well-established tank they quickly become an engaging part of the ecosystem while also contributing to natural tank maintenance.
Hardy and adaptable, Green Jade shrimp are suitable for both beginner shrimp keepers and experienced aquarists. In stable water conditions they breed readily, allowing colonies to grow and develop over time.
