Blue Carbon Rili Shrimp
Blue Carbon Rili shrimp are a stunning variation of Neocaridina, admired for their deep blue tones paired with the classic Rili pattern. Their bodies often display a rich carbon-blue head and tail, contrasted by a translucent midsection that gives them their distinctive “Rili” appearance.
Each shrimp carries its own unique patterning, making every colony beautifully varied while still maintaining that striking blue contrast. Against plants, dark substrate, or driftwood, their colouration really stands out and adds depth to a shrimp tank.
These shrimp are peaceful, active grazers that spend their time exploring surfaces and feeding on biofilm, algae, and leftover food. In a well-established aquarium they quickly become a lively and fascinating part of the ecosystem.

Blue Carbon Rili Shrimp
The Blue Carbon Rili Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) is a striking freshwater shrimp with deep blue bodies and translucent “rili” patterning. Hardy and peaceful, they make an excellent choice for planted aquariums and community tanks.
These shrimp thrive in stable water conditions, grazing on algae and biofilm while adding colour and activity to your tank. Like all Neocaridina, they are easy to care for and will breed readily in the right setup.
