Orange Rili Shrimp

Orange Rili shrimp are a vibrant and eye-catching variety of Neocaridina, loved for their bright orange colouration and distinctive Rili pattern. Their bodies typically display strong orange markings on the head and tail, contrasted by a translucent midsection that gives them their signature Rili appearance.

The contrast between the vivid orange tones and the clear central band creates a striking look that stands out beautifully against plants, driftwood, and darker substrates. Each shrimp shows its own unique variation in colour intensity and patterning, giving colonies a natural mix of tones while still maintaining the classic Orange Rili style.

Peaceful, active, and constantly grazing, Orange Rili shrimp spend their time exploring the aquarium in search of biofilm and algae. In a well-established tank they quickly become a lively and fascinating part of the ecosystem.

Hardy and adaptable, they are suitable for both beginner shrimp keepers and experienced hobbyists looking to add a bright splash of colour to their aquarium.
